Growing Undergraduate Programs in Analytics

MinneAnalytics is sponsoring a half-day Education Forum, July 27 at Normandale Community College.  Over 15 area universities, colleges and community colleges have already registered to attend, along with a number of area businesses.

MinneAnalytics member organizations have a long term commitment to supporting analytics students with internships and employment opportunities. Even so, we know that as an industry we need to expand the total number of undergraduate students to meet the increasing demand for analytically educated resources. Being able to leverage your insight and experience in helping define the business requirements for successful undergraduate programs would be an incredible gift to the profession.

Following the forum we will attend the MinneMix event at the Nerdery, where we will share a short summary of the forum discussion. Our goal is to expand interest and involvement in supporting undergraduate data science, business analytic and big data programs across the area.

If attending this forum will fit in your schedule, contact Mark Gorman (mark@minneanalytics.org).  We look forward to the sharing of experience and expertise between academics and business professionals in addressing this pressing need.
