Be the Match is making incredible advancements in the data space!  We are looking for a creative, ambitious, results driven technical advisor to institute innovative Data and Analytics capabilities that will enable our organization to effectively leverage data to advance our mission – saving lives through cellular therapy.

The Data & Analytics Solution architect is responsible for defining, designing and implementing an enterprise technology roadmap for Data & Analytics.  This individual will work in collaboration with data professionals to evaluate, plan, design, develop, implement, and maintain data solutions in the areas of Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics and Data Management technologies. The Solutions Architect brings thought-leadership and is a key contributor to the organizations data & analytics strategy and resulting requirements, translating those requirements into architectural models that show how the current and future needs of an organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, and adaptable manner.


  • Creates and owns the solution and technical architecture artifacts for Data and Analytics technology (including but not limited to technical roadmaps, frameworks)
  • Establishes technology related processes, monitors, and controls that enable effective oversight of platform implementation and ongoing enhancements
  • Drives development and improvement of the enterprise Data and Analytics solution architecture practice; ensures the architecture bridges operations and research functions and aligns with the enterprise technical landscape
  • Partners with stakeholders across the organization to establish and implement a technology roadmap for BI, Analytics, Data Management disciplines.
  • Ensures Data and Analytics technology is in alignment with the enterprise strategy, reference architecture and other guidelines produced by Architectural Review Board (ARB)
  • Leads collaborative discussions around architecture changes and technical evaluations; makes recommendations and ensures enterprise buy-in and gains commitment to implement strategy and architecture
  • Actively contributes to the successful execution of the technology roadmap – delivering key capabilities to our end users and customers.
  • Provides oversight and orchestrates the successful design and delivery of the Enterprise Data Warehouse and semantic layer architecture
  • Partners closely with information security to guide and develop user provisioning strategies and best practices, enabling efficient and scalable delivery model
  • Stays knowledgeable on industry trends and shares recommendations with leaders on emerging capabilities impacting our strategy

  • Experience and expertise in technologies such as: Oracle RDB, Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake, AWS (S3, Athena, EMR), Attunity, Fivetran, WhereScape, OBIEE, Looker, SAS, R Studio/Shiny, Tableau
  • Experience with data management tools is a plus
  • Experience and expertise in star schemas, OLAP, data warehousing architecture

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Engineering/Business with an emphasis in Information Technology, including advanced degree in data-related fields; however, upon evaluation, equivalent related experience and/or education may be substituted for the degree requirement
  • Five years technical work experience in a BI / analytics environment which must include:
  1. A minimum of five years of experience as a BI Solutions Architect
  2. Demonstrated experience architecting solutions
  3. Experience in application architectures including both in-house developed and COTS (Commercial, off-the-shelf) applications is a must, knowledge of cloud-based environment is critical (Amazon preferred); experience in establishing and implementing multi-year application migration roadmaps required
  4. Proven success in establishing and delivering complex BI and analytics cloud architectures for midsized companies
  • 12+ years of enterprise or application consulting experience, including implementation experience with one or more common enterprise software solutions (e.g. Business Intelligence, Business Analytics), filling positions of increasing responsibility
