Presentation Info:
- Each Student Team will present their findings to a 3 or 4 person Judging Team
- To ensure impartiality, we want the judges to be unaware of which school they’re judging, so we’re asking the students to not have any school branding of clothes, badges, or accessories.
- Each Judging Team should be comprised of a business professional, STEM professional, and an academic.
- We will randomly send student teams to a judging team (we’ll reassign if they’re sent to a judging team which their Advisor is on).
- Each judging session will last about 12 – 15 minutes, during which the students present their findings and permit the judges to ask questions. To ensure every student team gets enough judging sessions in, please adhere to this session timing.
- After the student team leaves, the Judges should confer and take notes on the presentation, but not enter scores for them until the morning presentations end.
- The Student teams will then exit and will queue back up for another judging session.
- Our goal is to have each student team judged 4 to 6 times.
- Students should bring whatever materials/laptops that they can carry to assist with their presentation.
- Student teams that have made it into the finals will present in the Theater to everyone at 1:00.
