Principal Data Analyst – Hennepin County

Hennepin County’s Health and Human Services department is hiring a Principal Data Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team and support Child Support Services. This role focuses on turning complex data into actionable insights that help staff make informed decisions—ultimately benefiting county residents.

What you’ll do:

• Analyze and interpret data from state and county systems (including PRISM)
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations
• Translate data for non-technical audiences and provide consultative support
• Create tools and automate processes to improve efficiency

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with the ability to communicate insights clearly and partner effectively with program staff. Experience with SQL and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
