SENIOR DATA ENGINEER – St. Cloud, MN based role. Must reside in Central MN and have a reasonable commute to PCI’s St. Cloud office due to in-office requirements.

SENIOR DATA ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Database Administration:

  • Install and maintain database servers.
  • Optimize database security and manage security protocols.
  • Performance tuning and troubleshooting of database systems.
  • Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
  • Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
  • Automate database tasks and provide on-call support as needed.
  • Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.

Business Intelligence Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
  • Assemble complex data sets to meet business requirements.
  • Build processes supporting data transformation, structures, and workload management.
  • Assist stakeholders with data-related technical issues and support data needs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Third Party Application Support:

  • Provide technical support and configuration for third-party applications.
  • Customize and configure third-party applications through database configurations.

Other:

  • Perform daily functions as needed or in the absence of department employees.
  • Adhere to and support the company’s Values, Mission, and Vision.

SENIOR DATA ENGINEER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent program/experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on database administration and development experience.
  • Proficiency in critical and analytical thinking, time management, and organization.
  • Effective verbal communication and attention to detail.
    Ability to handle confidential information.

OFFICE LOCATION/SCHEDULE/HOURS:

  • Location: 628 Roosevelt Road, St. Cloud, MN
  • Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours/week
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Work Environment: Hybrid, with some in-office requirements

SENIOR DATA ENGINEER COMPENSATION:

  • Pay Grade: S7
  • Minimum – Midpoint: $103,000 – $128,750 per year (Starting Pay Based on Experience)
