The third-annual data science challenge drew 65 student teams from colleges and universities across the Midwest. After several weeks of working on the challenge question, participating teams gathered at Optum in Eden Prairie on Saturday, Nov. 3 to present their results.
The 2018 Midwest Undergraduate Data Analytics Competition (MUDAC) is coming up April 7-8 at the Winona State University campus in Winona, Minn. This event is a collaborative effort between Winona State University, MinneAnalytics and the Minnesota Wild.
MinneAnalytics is partnering with Hamline University to sponsor analytics competitions at the high school level. Our mission is focused on promoting the data sciences, and what better way than to help build a pipeline of interested students? A pilot competition is being organized for April of next year, with a broader reach coming during the 2018/2019 school year.
