We are proud to announce Isaac Swenson as the recipient of a MinneAnalytics Scholarship in the amount of $1000. Isaac is a third-year actuarial science major at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

His interest in data science began at the end of his freshman year when he joined the UWEC Data Analytics Association (DAA), a student-run organization to help students learn about data science at a school without an undergraduate data science program.

Isaac was a member of the UWEC team that placed in the top 3 of the Novice Division at MinneMUDAC 2018 and was on the UWEC team that placed first at MUDAC 2019. He continues to play an active role in the DAA, serving as treasurer for the organization.

MinneAnalytics Scholarships are awarded to students who display a passion for pursuing a career in analytics and a commitment to engaging with the community. Last year, the organization awarded 20 scholarships in the amount of $1000 each to students from schools across the Midwest. Learn more about scholarships
