We are proud to announce the addition of Dave Mathias to the MinneAnalytics Board of Directors. Dave has been involved with MinneAnalytics over the years and most recently served as co-chair of FARCON, our Aug. 12 financial and retail analytics conference.

“Dave not only brings much knowledge in analytics, security and product management, but his community organizational skills are excellent,” said board member Graeme Thickins. “He did a really fine job organizing FARCON this summer. I join in welcoming him to the board!”

Dave is the sixth member appointed to the MinneAnalytics board, joining co-founders Dan Atkins, Sean Larson and Glenn Trygstad, as well as Lizzy Wilkins and Graeme Thickins.

“MinneAnalytics plays such a valuable role in Minnesota’s analytics community and I am honored to join the board,” Dave said. “I only hope to be able to contribute to furthering MinneAnalytics’ tradition of making the analytics community stronger through great community based events and activities.”

In addition to his involvement in MinneAnalytics, Dave is also the president of the Minnesota Product Development and Management Association and is treasurer/secretary and on the board of Ally People Solutions. During the day he works at reinsurance broker Tiger Risk. Dave earned his JD from Drake University Law School, an MS in Information Assurance from Iowa State University and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota.
