As part of our expanding support of education in data science and analytics, MinneAnalytics has committed $17,000 in scholarships so far this year. This is an increase from 2016 and will allow for a greater number of scholarships supporting the next generation of data scientists.
For the past few years MinneAnalytics has increased its commitment to the data science and analytics profession by enhancing the number and quality of students pursuing careers in this field. This support has included funding individual scholarships, and providing funding support, volunteers, judges and speakers at academic events in the upper Midwest.
MinneAnalytics is proud to to announce the recipients of two scholarships created for Minnesota’s next generation of data scientists and analytics professionals. The 2016 Scholars for Big Data, Analytics and Data Science are Bailey Perry of U of M, Twin Cities, and Daniel Peters of U of M, Duluth.
